I bought some roses for a model to pose with, but I never got around to hiring the model. This white rose captured my heart, and it gave me a chance to work with one of my favorite color schemes-white, ochre and a strong accent color, in this case, the deep greens of the stem and leaves. I love their dark contrast and two-dimensional look next to the supple form of the white rose.
